Since COVID-19, we have noticed that a significant number of students have shown signs of stress, especially when they have tests or exams, so several teachers have started celebrating “World Mental Health Day.” In 2025, class 10CT1 celebrated the event in their English class.
The goal
was to raise students' awareness of the importance of psychological health,
promote mental health and well-being, and share some tips/techniques on how to
keep our minds healthy.
Below is
the material used to give students background information and foster
discussion. It was a great session and helped students understand that if they are not
feeling well mentally, their situation is not unique and that most mental
health issues can be overcome with the help of others and if they change some
of their habits.
